Evelyne’s practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful therapeutic work begins with safety, trust, and connection. She strives to create a space where you feel heard, understood, respected, and supported, while recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and perspectives are unique. Evelyne provides services in both English and French, supporting clients in accessing care in the language they feel most comfortable using.
Evelyne is a Provisional Registered Psychologist with an Master in Counselling and a Master in Sport Psychology. She takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is also formally trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her goal is to work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, build on their existing strengths, develop meaningful skills, and foster hope and growth.
Evelyne works with Adolescents and Adults, as well as groups. She supports adolescents, parents, athletes and their parents navigating relationship dynamics, individuals experiencing sleep disturbances and life transitions, and those connected with the RCMP and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). Her areas of particular interest include PTSD, post-traumatic growth, adverse and traumatic events, relationship concerns, and navigating significant life transitions.
Evelyne values creating an inclusive and welcoming space where individuality is respected and each person’s perspective is understood. She believes that you are the expert in your own experience, and her role is to walk alongside you as you work toward greater well-being, resilience, and meaningful change.
Outside of work, Evelyne enjoys spending time with her boys and pups. She loves being outdoors camping, hiking, skiing, and running, and can often be found with a good book or enjoying time baking.
